Born in Naples, Italy she undertook the study of music
at a very young age. Graduating in 1985 from the Conservatory
of San Pietro a Majella. In 1985 she was chosen to participate,
as part of the Festival of the Valle d'Itria di Martina
Franca, in technical and voice studies under the direction
of Rodolfo Celletti. She has done intense concert activities
in both Italy and abroad, singing on the stages of the most
important cities: from Rome (Teatro dell'Opera) to Cagliari,
Lucca, Genoa, Palermo, Naples, Geneva, and Lugano, where
she was guest of the Swiss-Italian Radio and Television
company (RTSI).
In 1989 she debuted, in the opera season at Giglio Theater
in Lucca, as Fiordiligi in "Cosi' fan tutte,"
under the direction of Beppe Menegatti. In 2003, she played
Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni at the "Amadeus"
Festival of Geneva. In 1992 she took part, at the San Carlo
Theater of Naples, in the production of Der Rosenkavalier
directed by Yoram David. In 1993 she sang, at the Teatro
Massimo of in Palermo, the "Trittico" di Luciano
Chailly, in the production by Crivelli and the orchestral
direction of Karl Martin. Two years later, she was the guest
at the "Carlo Felice" Theater in Genoa for "La
Sonnambula," directed by Ermanno Olmi and conducted
by Daniel Oren. She returned to Palermo in the opera "Der
Traumgorge" di Zemlinsky and at the San Carlo Theater
(Naples), in 1996, for the Magnificat di Bach.
After the debut in Rossini's La Gazzetta, in Como, she
was again at San Carlo for Macbeth (1998) with Kuhn conducting
and directed by Gluaco Mauri, and then, a year later, she
sung in Cavalleria Rusticana. Recently, she has participated
at the Ravenna Festival, first in Ernani, and then in I
Capuleti e I Montecchi (in the role of Romeo) under the
direction of Cristina Mazzavillani Muti.

star make her Boston debut, at "A unique evening of
Opera in the Neapolitan style. She will also pay tribute
to the Christmas season by performing a few holiday classics.
